  • DeathWatch Challenges

    1. DeathWatch Challenges are extra tasks given to challenge the player with something outside of the main point targets.
    2. With the exception of Casino Land, all of the areas of Madworld have at least seven challenges spread across their two non-boss exclusive levels.
    3. Varrigan City's first two DeathWatch Challenges will be unlocked only after completing the first two levels from Asian Town.
    4. Whenever there is an exclamation point over a level on the map screen, you know that there is a DeathWatch challenge there waiting to be completed.

  • Central Station

    1. Challenge #1: Hit Bull with the Train!
    2. TIP: Try to lure the Bull into the eastern train tracks and just move around to avoid its attacks until you hear the train or see the lights turn on. Once you do, immediately jump out and the train should crash right into the Bull.
    3. Challenge #2: Score 3 Million Points!
    4. Challenge #3: Finish Without Using a Continue!
    5. Challenge #4: Kill the Boss in 15 Minutes!

  • Downtown

    1. Challenge #1: Get 3 Bull Masks!
    2. TIP: In order to get a mask from a Big Bull, you need to kill it with a power struggle. Once you kill it, pick up the Bull's mask to have it count towards the challenge.
    3. Challenge #2: Slaughter 100 Enemies!
    4. Challenge #3: Score 3.5 Million Points!
    5. Challenge #4: Don't Kill More than 25 Enemies!
    6. TIP: This is a bit tricky. Make sure that you do not kill any enemies without first sticking the maximum number of objects into them. That means 5 signs and one barrel or tire. You also should kill them in a way that doesn't make the objects disappear, so don't throw them into the river or stick them into a flaming barrel.

  • Great Wall St.

    1. Challenge #1: Get 3 Orbs!
    2. TIP: The first orb can be found by killing Yee Fung on the ceiling of the building with the elevator and the meat grinder, the second orb can be found by killing all of the enemies in the Sushi Bar, and the third orb can be found by climbing up the back of the dragon and killing the enemy at the end. The dragon is found on the same roof as the level's Bloodbath Challenge.
    3. Challenge #2: Score 4 Million Points!
    4. Challenge #3: Kill the Boss in 15 Minutes!

  • Bistro

    1. Challenge #1: Save 3 Geishas!
    2. TIP: This will usually be done unknowingly on your first run through of the level. Simply kill all of the ninjas before moving on to the next room to rescue the Geisha.
    3. Challenge #2: Kill the Boss in 15 Minutes!
    4. Challenge #3: Fry 8,000 Points Worth of Food!
    5. TIP: Just keep on throwing ninjas and fish from the counter into the giant pot in the middle, then take out their fried selves, throw them on to the serving dish and press the bell.
    6. Challenge #4: Don't Take Damage!
    7. TIP: Dodge, dodge, dodge. That's the best advice I can give you. Play defensively and put the spear's crowd clearing attack (shake the remote) to good use whenever you get surrounded.

  • Courtyard

    1. Challenge #1: Spike 6 at the Fountain!
    2. TIP: Throw six zombies on to the fountain spikes in the middle of the ground level of the courtyard.
    3. Challenge #2: Finish Without Using a Continue
    4. Challenge #3: Score 5 Million Points!
    5. Challenge #4: Kill 4 Death Blades
    6. TIP: Keep on scoring points until a Death Blade cutscene interrupts the action. Let a zombie grab you and then perform the remote gesture shown to avoid getting your head sliced off. From there just focus on attacking the Death Blade with chainsaw attacks until it either disappears or dies. Repeat the process until 4 Death Blades are dead.

  • The Dungeon

    1. Challenge #1: Stick Driller with 5 Candlesticks!
    2. TIP: You'll need to tire the driller out before he lets you stick a candlestick in him. Lead him over to a candlestick, hit him with chainsaw attacks until he lets his guard down and starts taking deep breaths, then pick up the candlestick and drive it into him.
    3. Challenge #2: Slaughter 200 Enemies!
    4. TIP: The Bloodbath Challenge will help immensely with this one. Don't forget about the blade at the statue's base.
    5. Challenge #3: Finish Without Using a Continue!

  • Access Hangar

    1. Challenge #1: Kill the Boss in 10 Minutes!
    2. Challenge #2: Don't Take Damage!
    3. Challenge #3: Score 5.6 Million Points!

  • Maintenance Facility

    1. Challenge #1: Hunt Runaway Greys!
    2. TIP: This is another challenge that you should be able to do on your first time through. Over the course of the level, three Greys will break loose. Simply look for them and cut them up with a chainsaw to complete the challenge.
    3. Challenge #2: Score 3 Million Points!
    4. Challenge #3: Kill the Boss in 15 Minutes!
    5. Challenge #4: Finish Without Using a Continue!
