BOSS - Yokozuna
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Yokozuna Boss Fight Part 1 (Time: 3:48)
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Yokozuna Boss Fight Part 2 (Time: 7:48)
- Right from one boss to the next. Yokozuna is actually a three round boss fight, but there isn't much of a difference between the three rounds.
- The main strategy here is to hit Yokozuna with chainsaw slashes and backfists until he's knocked off balance. Once that happens, you can trigger a power struggle that will culminate with you knocking him into whatever hazard is currently in the stands. Be careful though because if you fail the challenge, you're the one who will be knocked into the hazard.
- Like Shogun before him, Yokozuna's main attack that you have to watch out for is his charge. He actually has two charges. The first he will telegraph by putting his arm on the floor and crouching down a little bit. Dodge right before it hits you to avoid it and place yourself in a position to counter-attack.
- His other charge is a sumo-like move where he will charge forward and start striking you with his palms, finishing it off with a foot stomp. This move is much slower than his other charge, but it lasts long and will deal more damage if it hits.
- When he starts to emanate energy, he'll jump up and grab a helicopter to throw down at you. Perform the onscreen nunchuck gesture to avoid it and then punish him when he falls back to earth.
- Once you knock him into the cannon and send him into the volcano, the fight will be over and Jack will rank up once again to 53.

Mad Castle - Courtyard
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Courtyard Part 1 (Time: 5:15) | Part 2
- The new enemy that you'll have to fight in the Mad Castle levels are zombies. Zombies aren't as combat savvy as the Ninjas you fought back at Asian Town, but to make up for it they can survive attacks that would normally kill other enemies.
- For example, while most enemies would just stagger around until they finally died when impaled with a lamp, zombies will still attack like normal. They also can survive being cut in half horizontally and will still try to grab you while their torso is crawling around.
- With all of that being said, let's highlight some of the points of interest in this fairly small level.
- In the actual courtyard itself there is a meat grinder on the west side, a fountain in the middle with spikes to impale enemies on, a statue in the southwest corner to slam dunk enemies into, and spikes along northern wall.
- Once you go upstairs, there is a building with a chandelier that will crush anything thrown under it, a table that will cause zombies to slide into the fireplace when thrown onto it, a catapult on the outside that will paint the moon red, and a fish tank with flesh eating pirahnas inside. So as you can see, there is no shortage of ways to finish off enemies in this level.
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Courtyard Part 3 (Time: 5:03)
- Your first point target is 350,000. You can get this fairly quickly by utilizing the many lamps around the courtyard, sticking them into a single enemy, putting a pumpkin on their head, and then finding an explosive barrel nearby to blow it up along with any other enemies that might be nearby.
- 350,000 points will unlock the Golf Club, which can be found in the southeast corner of the top floor. Use the zip line next to the graveyard and then proceed around the corner to pick it up.
- For the most part, the golf club is a standard weapon with weak melee attacks with the A button, and a slower but stronger attack by swinging the remote. What's unique about the golf club is what happens when you use it's B attack. Pressing and holding B will cause Jack to grab enemy, slam them to the ground, and an arcing line will move up and down. You can then swing the remote to hit the enemies head along the trajectory of the arc.
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Courtyard Part 4 (Time: 4:03)
- Once you obtain a certain number of points, a new enemy known as a Death Blade will enter the fray. Death Blades ride around on skates and try to slash at you with their scythe. One hit from the scythe can take away about half of your health so whenever you hear those skating noises, check your minimap and try to locate where he's coming from.
- Hitting the Death Blade with your chainsaw enough will cause it to disappear, but it won't kill it right away. A Death Blade will come back only when a Zombie manages to grab you. If it does, the Death Blade will appear and you will have to perform a remote gesture in order to prevent it from slicing your head off.
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Courtyard Part 5 (Time: 4:34)
- At 700,000 points you will unlock a Happy Onion in the weapon dispenser in the dining room by the chandelier. Use it to refill you health back to full.
- Once you receive 1,000,000 points, you'll unlock the next Bloodbath Challenge, Man Golf. Head up to where the catapult is to trigger the challenge.
Bloodbath Challenge - Man Golf
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Bloodbath Challenge: Man Golf (Time: 5:53)
- The object of this Bloodbath Challenge is to use your golf club to smack zombie's heads through rings in the sky. Hitting one head through multiple rings at a time will grant you bonus points.
- What's nice about this challenge is that the zombies will be almost completely docile and you can just simply run up to one after another to grab them. They will also automatically orient you close to where the rings are so don't worry about your positioning as you grab them.
- Note that the targets to the sides and the far one right next to the "Welcome" sign are not part of the actual game. There are only three targets made for the game at the start and they are all perfectly oriented towards you. Once you get rid of those three, a new batch will appear.
- When the targets start moving, there is a chance that the timing of your arc might never match the movements of the target. Try to pick up on this fast and just hit the head you're holding away so you don't waste time.
- Once the three minutes are up, your score will be calculated and added to your overall score for the level.
- Doing well in the Man Golf event should give you enough points for your 1,800,000 point target. If it does, you can collect the torch in the courtyard at the end of the hallway at the northwest corner.
- The torch's main purpose is to set enemies on fire so you can get some extra points in your kills, but it also has a unique attack with the B button that will allow Jack to blow fire at enemies in front of him.
- Once you reach your goal of 2,500,000 points, the boss gong will appear behind the fountain in the middle of the courtyard. Activate it to initiate the next boss fight.
BOSS - The Shamans
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - The Shamans Part 1 (Time: 4:07)
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - The Shamans Part 2 (Time: 3:25)
- As soon as this battle begins, the main shaman will use his buddies as a wheel and dash towards you at high speeds. Immediately run towards the stairs and head up to avoid getting hit.
- Once the boss separates from the lesser enemies, charge towards him and start slashing him with chainsaw attacks. If the little shamans get in your way, either throw them at the boss for some small damage, or just cut them up with a single chainsaw slash.
- TIP: If there are still explosive barrels lying around left over from the actual level, use them to also deal some nice damage to the boss.
- The main Shaman will likely start running to a new location when things start to look bad for it. Pursue him and his followers and just keep on attacking.
- There actually isn't much to watch out for from the boss himself. He'll try to avoid your chainsaw attacks, but he won't do much to counter-attack. He does however, have two moves that you can easily see coming because they're telegraphed by him howling.
- When he brings his hands to his face, immediately dodge to get out of the way of his howl. If he hits you, you'll be stunned and be at risk for getting hit by his dashing maul attack or his slicing claw. If you don't get hit by the howl, then this is your chance to enter a power struggle event with him by performing the remote gesture shown. Complete the gestures when prompted to win the power struggle and deal a great deal of damage.
- Keep up this strategy of being aggressive while being cautious of his howl and you'll bring his life down in no time. Once you finish him off, Jack will gain the rank of 49 and you'll be free to access the next level.
Mad Castle - The Dungeon

- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - The Dungeon Part 4 (Time: 5:07)
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - The Dungeon Part 5 (Time: 5:25)
- The Dungeon has a large and a little bit confusing level layout that can be divided into three main locations: the cells, the statue base, and the upper level.
- The cells have a couple of cool ways to dispatch your enemies including an eletrical chair, a couple of saws, some spiked balls to replace a zombie's head with, a sewage pipe, a catapult that launches enemies into the sword of the statue, and a few meat hooks.
- The statue base, or the circular area at the bottom of the statue, is where you'll find most of the stuff that you'll want to put onto or into a zombie. Outside of a bunch of barrels, candle sticks, and explosive barrels, there isn't much that you'll find here. Though, there are two special switches by both entrances to the statue base that will cause a giant knife to emerge from the statue and make a single sweep across the area. If you can get your hands on some meat, this is a great place to throw it.
- The upper level can only be accessed once the Big Long Driller joins the fight, which will happen when you obtain 100,000 points. In order to access this area, you'll need to jump on the boxes in the cells, head past the elevator platforms that will crush you on the spike roof and wait for the Driller to burst through the wall. The upper level has a series of ziplines that will take you to several platforms with hooks that you can place enemies on to and cause items to rise up.
- Now that you know the lay of the land, let's talk about the point targets. As mentioned before, getting 100,000 points will trigger the Big Long Driller's arrival.
- To actually defeat the Big Driller, watch for him to raise his chainsaw and perform a little hop. This is the only attack that you'll be able to trigger a power struggle with by performing the remote gesture shown. Any time he raises his drill and doesn't do that little hop, get ready to dodge several times.
- In between his attacks, make sure to attack him with chainsaw slashes.
- After taking damage, he'll generally dig back underground only to appear some time later.
- After the Big Driller, the next point target is 175,000 points and it will net you a spiked bat. You can find the bat in the weapon dispenser in the cells.
- The next item you'll get for 530,000 is a Happy Onion. If you need the health, you'll find it in the dispenser right after the spike ceiling in the upper level.
- Kill some more zombies and try to kill the Big Driller so you can bring your point total up to 700,000 in order to make the next Bloodbath Challenge available. The location for the event is at the statue base.
Bloodbath Challenge - Death Press 2
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Bloodbath Challenge: Death Press II (Time: 3:05)
- Despite the name, Death Press 2 is actually nothing like Death Press 1. Instead of a giant spiked crusher, we have a giant hand that sweeps up enemies and then crushes them in its palm.
- The general idea here is to throw a single enemy into the hand when three other enemies are close to it. Throwing the enemy into the hand will cause it to pick up any nearby enemies and then crush all of them at the same time.
- If you can get a total of four kills this way, the hand will go into a frenzy and will start pounding the ground in an attempt to smash Jack. Stay outside of the hand's reach as you run around the arena trying to lead the hand into as many zombies as you can.
- After a while the hand will stop moving and you'll be able to throw enemies into it again.
- Repeat this process of throwing enemies into the hand, causing it to pound the ground and then leading it into the hordes of zombies standing around. Do so and you'll gain tons of points for this challenge, leading you ever so closer to your eventual goal of 2,650,000 points.
- After the challenge, you'll probably have gotten, or at least gotten close to the next point goal of 2,450,000. This will unlock daggers from the weapon dispenser on the upper level. To get there you'll have to navigate a series of ziplines until you reach a lone platform with zombies inside a locked cell. The zombies will eventually bust through and will allow you to claim your prize.
- With the daggers in hand, gaining an extra 200,000 should be no sweat and will bring you to your 2,650,000 goal. Once the boss gong is unlocked, head back down to the entrance of the level and enter the cell labeled "Frank's Lab" to hit the gong and kick off the boss fight.
BOSS - Frank
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Frank Boss Fight (Time: 5:10)
- There are two levels to this fight as you can see. The top level, which is where you want to be 90% of the time, and the bottom water filled level, which is where you will get stomped on or zapped if you stick around for too long.
- When the fight begins, let Frank come to you and simply shake the nunchuck to dodge his attacks as they come.
- After you dodge each attack, rush in and hit him with a quick chainsaw swipe or two.
- There are also a couple of explosive barrels lying around the upper level. If you can put enough distance between you and Frank, pick them up and throw them at him for some nice extra damage.
- The attack that you're waiting for is a hand swipe across the floor. Once that comes, perform the remote gesture shown to initiate a power struggle. At the end of the struggle, if you're successful, Jack will pull out two of Frank's bolts and will bring Frank to his knees. During this time, hit Frank with jumping chainsaw attacks and deal as much damage as you can.
- Once he stands back up, head for the stairs or the platform next to Frank's chair and hop back up to the upper level.
- After you deal a good amount of damage to him, Frank will go into rage mode and will have electricity sparking from his body. During this time, don't even try to counter his attacks and just focus on dodging. Note that everything will come at you a little bit faster, so judge your timing accordingly.
- After a couple of attacks while in rage mode, Frank will return to his chair to recharge. While he's walking back and while he's siting in his chair, hit him with chainsaw slashes until you run out of juice. He'll heal some of his damage while recharging, but it won't be too much so don't worry.
- Once he's done recharging, return to the top level and wait for him to come back.
- Keep on repeating this strategy until you drain his life completely and are able to finish him off. Once Frank is fried, you'll obtain his rank of 36.
BOSS - Elise
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Elise Boss Fight Part 1 (Time: 4:36)
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Elise Boss Fight Part 2 (Time: 4:17)
- Run towards Elise at the opposite end of the cathedral and she'll quickly become surrounded by bats. Jump through the bats and try to hit Elise with a jumping chainsaw slash.
- Keep up the aggression despite the potential for damage that you might take on account of her bats and she'll eventually disappear.
- While she's gone take this time to bust open some of the boxes around the level and find some health pills if you need them.
- Take a look around the cathedral, but don't ever stop moving. Bats will periodically swoop in to deal damage to you.
- You're looking for a statue or window that looks like Elise and is different from all the others. Once you find it, press A to get Elise out of hiding and initiate a power struggle.
- Succeed in the power struggle and Elise will be left open to a couple more chainsaw slashes. She'll then call back her bats and the process will start all over.
- Continue this strategy of being aggressive until she disappears, scrounging around for health in the boxes if you need it, and then playing hide and seek with Elise to initiate a power struggle.
- Once you bring down her health all the way, you'll be able to finish her off and will take her rank of 18.
Area 66 - Access Hangar
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Access Hangar (Time: 8:00)
- Access Hangar is another motorcycle level with not much having changed in terms of gameplay. Unlike Red Line Way however, Access Hangar is a looping level that only ends when you obtain the 2,800,000 that you need to activate the boss fight.
- Another difference is that there is actually a Bloodbath Challenge in this level as well. Once you obtain 450,000 points, a special arch will appear that will trigger the challenge once you pass through it.
Bloodbath Challenge - Road Rampage
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Bloodbath Challenge: Road Rampage (Time: 3:12)
- This challenge is nothing but simplistic fun. All you really have to do is run over as many aliens as you can with your motorcycle within the time limit.
- Your controls have changed a little bit since you're not actually racing in this level. Shaking the remote will cause Jack to spin his bike around in a circle, but still continue moving forward. Shaking the nunchuck will do the same thing, only it will cause Jack to face the opposite direction afterward.
- Whenever you can, try to knock the aliens into the death traps for some extra points and use your turbo to move faster so you can keep your combos going.
- You have two minutes to rack up as many points as you can. Once the challenge ends, you'll be placed back at the start of the actual level.
- After the Bloodbath challenge, just rack up a few more kills to get those 2,800,000 that you need to unlock the boss. Like the Bloodbath Challenge, to start the boss battle, you'll have to drive through the specified arch.
BOSS - Kojack
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Kojack Boss Fight (Time: 3:37)
- Kojack is probably the simplest boss fight in the game.
- Note that the controls for this fight are just like they were in the Bloodbath Challenge, with shaking the nunchuck and remote causing Jack to perform a spin out attack.
- When the battle begins, speed toward Kojack and swing the remote when he gets close or when prompted to in order to start a power struggle.
- Once the power struggle ends, speed away and keep an eye on your mini map. Whenever the yellow dot gets close to you, swing the remote to not only damage Kojack, but also make him the one that's being pursued.
- Chase after Kojack and attempt to initiate another power struggle by using spin out when he uses his.
- That's actually all there is to this fight. It's just a game of bike tag with a couple of power struggles thrown in.
- Once you bring down his life and finish him off, you'll gain Kojack's rank of 11. You're almost in the top 10!
