Area 66 - Maintenance Facility

- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Maintenance Facility Part 5 (Time: 5:12)
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Maintenance Facility Part 6 (Time: 4:37)
- The layout of this level is actually pretty simple. There is a floor level with environmental hazards at every corner, a mid level where there is a freezing chamber, a meat grinder, and several poles to impale people with, a cockpit with a teleporter that brings you down to the floor level, and a top level where there is really nothing but the location for the Bloodbath Challenge and the Boss Gong.
- The new enemies here are some of the toughest and most aggressive ones that you'll find throughout the game, so be sure to make ample use of your dodge maneuver so you can get out of the way of their attacks.
- Note that you cannot grab the enemies with shields until they are stunned. Soften them up first with backfists and uppercuts, or just throw other enemies into them to bring them down.
- The hard part about getting points in this level is that the enemies are so aggressive that it makes picking up a bunch of signs and jamming them into people hard. What I'd recommend is making use of the mid level area often since it's a place with plenty of death traps around that generally is not over crowded with enemies. Use the poles on the wall to build up points on a single enemy, and then throw them into the meat grinder.
- The first point target of 200,000 will give you access to an extremely useful weapon in the Magnet Gun. Collect it at the weapon dispenser near the garages at the eastern side of the floor level.
- To use the Magnet Gun, hold down B and aim it towards a group of enemies. You are able to suck in up to three enemies at a time. Once you're satisfied with the number of enemies you have, walk over to some kind of death trap and press A to shoot them all out. Try not to overuse the Magnet Gun because it's very useful against the upcoming Cyber Slicers and it'd be a shame to have to fight them without it.
- 500,000 points will activate the Fusion Engine at the south part of the floor level.
- The next point target will release Cyber Slicers into the level. These robotic samurais combine the smart AI of the Ninjas you fought in Asian Town with the health and damage of the Big Bulls and Big Drillers, making them very formidable opponents.
- If you still have the Magnet Gun, use it's vacuum function on the Cyber Slicers to cause them to go haywire momentarily. Use this opening to attack them with jumping chainsaw slashes.
- Once the Cyber Slicers start sparking, it means they're about to explode. Try to lead them towards a group of enemies so that you can maximize the point value of their death.
- At 1,100,000, the Alien Tractor beam will become active at the western part of the floor level. This is a great place to gather a group of enemies and attempt to throw three of them into the tractor beam at once for a large point bonus.
- TIP: If at anytime you're low on health and need a refill, check the garages to find a bunch of boxes that can be broken. You're bound to find a couple of health pills inside.
- At around 1,300,000 points an alien, or a Grey, will be released and will reward you with 99,999 points if you can kill it. Grey's don't do much fighting, but they are great at running away. If you spot one, keep it in your sights and bring it down with a chainsaw slash.
- At 1,700,000 points, you'll unlock the level's Bloodbath Challenge. It can be located at the very top floor of the level, which can be accessed via the elevator near the fusion engine

Bloodbath Challenge - Money Shot 2
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Bloodbath Challenge: Money Shot II (Time: 3:53)
- Unlike Death Press 2, Money Shot 2 is essentially the same as the first Money Shot except this time you're shooting aliens at targets on a giant female cutout.
- Unless you're aiming for the top targets on the blond model, you shouldn't have to shake the bottle more than once. Remember to position the enemy a little to the left of where the target actually is.
- Once you get all three targets on a single female, a bonus UFO will appear that will net you 50,000 points if you shoot it down.
- The UFO is large moves fairly slowly so it should be easy to predict its path and knock it down for a quick 50,000.
- Once you finish one model and UFO, turn to face the other direction to work on the other one. The dark haired model is much closer and its targets are much lower, so don't even shake the bottle unless you're aiming at the top target, in which case you should only shake it once.
- Once the 2 minutes run out, the challenge will end and your points will be added to your overall score for the level.
- After the Bloodbath challenge you should have, or have close to, 2,000,000 points. If so, you can pick up your daggers by heading to the mid level, making a right at the intersection before the elevator leading to the cockpit, and following the path around to the weapon dispenser.
- Two more Greys will also be released at around this time. Bring them both down for a huge point bonus, and the completion of the first Deathwatch Challenge.
- Once you receieve 2,600,000 points you will be rewarded with a Jack Balloon from the weapon dispenser in the cockpit.
- Once you finally reach your goal of 2,900,000, the Boss Gong will be dropped at the same area where you competed in the Bloodbath Challenge. Activate it to call the next boss.

BOSS - The Masters
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - The Masters Boss Fight (Time: 5:30)
- The main thing that The Masters like to do is send one of them dashing towards you for a multi-hit energy sword combo. Thankfully, this can be easily avoid by simply keeping your distance from them and dodging when they get close. While they're still slicing away at air, hit them with a couple of chainsaw slashes.
- When they both point their hands towards the sides, they're going to use their telekinesis to grab two barrels and then throw them at you. The barrels can be dodged, but a better plan is simply to rush them while they're holding the barrels and then perform a jumping chainsaw slash to them while they're concentrating.
- The attack you want to look out for is when they both point their energy swords at you and then dash forward together. This is when you'll get the opportunity to initiate a power struggle.
- At the end of the power struggle, choose one of The Masters and hit them with as many chainsaw slashes as you can before they retreat.
- There will likely be a time where the action will be interrupted by a small cutscene involving The Masters throwing a truck at you. Perform the remote or nunchuck gesture shown to cut the truck in half and avoid taking some massive damage.
- Don't be overly aggressive in this fight. Let them come to you and then punish them when you avoid their attack. Always be on the look out for the power struggle and you should be able to bring down The Masters with relative ease.
- Once you're able to finish them off, you'll obtain their rank of 5.

BOSS - Martin
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Martin Boss Fight Part 1 (Time: 5:15)
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Martin Boss Fight Part 2 (Time: 6:22)
- Your next boss fight is against a giant robot with missiles, a large saw at its base, a giant claw, and a very annoying smoke screen that makes it impossible to see anything that's not a foot in front of you. Rest assured that it has no shortage of ways to deal damage to you.
- As soon as the fight begins, hop on to the flatbed in the middle of the arena. You don't want to be on the same level as Martin unless you want to get repeatedly run over.
- While on the flatbed, expect Martin to fire lots of missiles your way. You can tell where they are going to land by looking at the markers on the floor, but be aware that they have a wide radius for splash damage, so make sure you're far away from any landing zones.
- Also expect to have to deal with rockets fired from Martin's arm mounted rocket launcher. As long as you keep on moving, you should be able to avoid them easily.
- Finally his last attack that he will use on you while you're on the flat bed is a swipe with his extending claw. When you see it coming, just try to roll under it or run out of its range.
- Note that while it would seem like your chainsaw wouldn't have any effect on Martin, it actually does do some damage. If Martin gets too close to the flat bed, get close to him and use a standing chainsaw slash to deal some damage.
- What you want to wait for is a rocket launcher of your own to appear on the flat bed. Once it does, pick it up and start firing away. You've only got four shots, so make sure that they all count.
- If you're waiting for an attack that will let you initiate a power struggle, you won't find it here. The only time a power struggle will occur is if Martin uses his smoke screen and you're on top of the flat bed.
- After a successful power struggle, you can either use the time that Martin is dazed to get some extra chainsaw slashes in on him, or you can wander around the ground level in search of boxes containing health pills.
- Keep on dodging his attacks and waiting for the rocket launcher to arrive so you can deal more damage. It may take a while, but this is the safest and most reliable way to bring Martin down.
- Once you bring Martin's health down to nothing, finish him off and you'll obtain his ranking of 2! The finals of DeathWatch await!

Casino Land - The Strip
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - The Strip Part 1 (Time: 5:03)
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - The Strip Part 2 (Time: 5:04)
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - The Strip Part 3 (Time: 5:35)
- The Strip, as you might imagine, is a completely linear level with lots of casinos and other cool buildings lining both sides of the road.
- The first area contains bumpers that you can throw enemies into and have them bounce around until they eventually find their way to the electrified fence. Utilize them to get you the 100,000 points you need to unlock the Spike Bat. You can pick the bat up from the dispenser back at the entrance of the level.
- Once you're done with the bumpers, proceed forward to find a couple of more methods of murder. You can bounce an enemy off the bumper and into the saw, impale people on the spikes lining the bus to the left, throw them into the fans on the bus ahead, throw them into the dumpsters behind the bus on the left, or head into either casino on the right and left.
- The casino on the right contains slot machines that you can throw enemies into, a giant slot machine that doubles as a meat grinder, and a weapon dispenser containing daggers that will be unlocked once you obtain 500,000 points.
- The casino on the left contains a giant roulette wheel with a spinning blade that you can throw enemies into, a pair of chopping knives by the bar, and bumpers around the room that will likely bounce enemies into one of the death traps.
- Once you reach 1,000,000 points, the Afterburner Sign will turn on near the casino with the slot machines.
- At 1,250,000 points, the trucks at the end of the strip will become unlocked, letting loose several tough enemies along with some neat weapons.
- Once you unlock the trucks, you should leave the casinos behind and move on to the end of the strip. Use a jumping chainsaw slash to take out the motorcycle enemy that drops from the sky.
- There are a lot of enemies in this part of the level along with lots of toys to take them out with. Use one of the cash boxes to gather them all together in one area and then grab an explosive barrel from one of the trucks to blow the entire crowd up.
- At 1,500,000 points, a dispenser will open in the area containing a Happy Onion. If you need the health, go ahead and grab it. If not, save it for later.
- Once you reach 1,750,000 points, the Big Long Driller will make its reappearance and will try to make things even harder on you.
- Like in the dungeon level, get ready initiate a power struggle with the Driller by shaking the remote when you see him reach back with his chainsaw and hop on one foot. If he doesn't do the hop, just use your standard dodge to avoid it and then punish him while he's attacking air.
- At 2,000,000 points, you'll unlock the final Bloodbath Challenge. Head towards the nearby icon on your minimap to initiate the challenge.
-
Bloodbath Challenge - Man Darts 2
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - Bloodbath Challenge: Man Darts II (Time: 7:09)
- This version of Man Darts is the same as the previous version, only this time the enemies will actively fight back and dodge your swings.
- This means you can't just stay in one spot and hold the B button down. You'll have to bash a couple of enemies until their stunned, position yourself so you're in a good spot to hit them towards the dart board, and then smack them away.
- This is probably the first Bloodbath Challenge that is actually dangerous because the enemies are so aggressive. Don't get carried away and forget that if you die in a Bloodbath Challenge, you still lose a life. Staying alive takes priority over lining up for a bullseye or triple 20.
- Once the two minutes are up, the challenge will end and your points will be added to your overall score for the level.
- Once you finish the Bloodbath Challenge, kill however many more enemies that you need in order to reach your end goal of 2,500,000. Doing so will open the tower doors and will let you end the level. No boss fight just yet.

Casino Land - Tower
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - The Tower Part 1 (Time: 5:06)
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - The Tower Part 2 (Time: 6:45)
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - The Tower Part 3 (Time: 5:40)
- The Tower is nothing but a series of battles against several minibosses that you've already beaten over the course of the game.
- The first miniboss that you'll have to fight against is Yee Fung. He's exactly the same as he was back in Asian Town, only now he'll be joined by several tiny versions of himself. Focus first on taking out Yee Fung and then just use chainsaw slashes to take out the minis.
- When you see him roll at you, use your dodge to roll around him. Then when he pops up to come back to the ground, use a chainsaw slash to either hit him or initiate a power struggle.
- Once you get rid of all of the enemies, the elevator will start moving to the next fight.
- Next you'll have to fight against Tengu and several of his Ninja buddies. Again, focus on Tengu first and the ninjas second. You'll have trouble if Tengu uses his clone techinique and you're not around to spot which one is the real one.
- TIP: If you see meat buns on the ground, throw them to distract the ninjas while you focus completely on Tengu.
- Once Tengu and then ninjas are finished, the elevator will rise again for the next battle.
- The next and final fight of this level has you facing off against two Big Bulls at once. There's nothing that I can tell you here that you don't already know. This is going to be a big test of your skill to see if you can fend off against two extremely tough enemies at once. Remember that their power struggle move is the same as the Big Long Driller. When they hop on one leg, you'll be able to initiate a power struggle.
- After you beat up on the Bulls for a while, you'll be joined by a Big Long Driller as well. Same tactics still apply. Be sure to pick up the health pills dropped whenever you kill a Bull or Driller.
- Once you defeat these three enemies, you'll move on to the final showdown with the number one ranked competitor.
-
BOSS - The Black Baron
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - The Black Baron Boss Fight Part 1 (Time: 5:04)
- YouTube: MadWorld Walkthrough - The Black Baron Boss Fight Part 2 (Time: 9:56)
- Yes, that's right, the number one ranked competitor in DeathWatch is the Black Baron himself and it's time for you two to face off in the squared circle.
- The Black Baron is like a hybrid between a wrestler and a boxer, so he'll constantly be looking to close the distance between you two.
- When you see the Baron jump up and start spinning, he's going to use an easily dodged and very punishable drop kick. Simply shake the nunchuck to dodge it and then hit him with a jumping chainsaw slash.
- Another attack that he likes to use is a teleporting punch. You'll be able to see him about to use it when he reaches back and shouts "Don't stop now!". To avoid it, just start running to the left or right when you see him reach back.
- His standard combo involves him using a flurry of punches, followed by an uppercut, concluding with a spin kick. After the kick, jump in and chainsaw him.
- Your chance to initiate a power struggle comes when he puts his hands to his face and starts charging forward. Succeed in the power struggle to deal a great deal of damage to the Baron. Fail it though, and you'll be on the receiving end of it.
- After the Baron takes a heavy amount of damage, he'll begin powering up and will start using his really damaging moves.
- When he pulls back like he's going to do an uppercut and starts sucking you in, start shaking the nunchuck to dodge like crazy. If he manages to hit you, you'll be sucked up by a tornado, shot into the stands, and then will somehow reappear in a helicopter, only to be dropped on to your head. It deals a massive amount of damage and should be avoided at all costs.
- The other big new attack that he'll use is actually an homage to Atsushi Inaba's previous game, God Hand. The Black Baron will charge up his energy, but blow you away rather than suck you in. When he finishes he will fire a giant hand at you that can be avoided by dodging at the right instant.
- You'll also need to watch out for when the Baron hops on to the top rope and initiates a little cutscene. If you don't complete the gesture correctly, you can be certain that you'll be blown to bits by his diving dropkick.
- You may lose a few lives in the process of getting the timing down to his attacks, but keep up the attack and you'll eventually automatically trigger a cutscene that will lead to Jack getting his hands on a Spike Bat to deliver the finishing blow.
- Finish off the Baron and you'll be crowned the champion of DeathWatch. Now watch the ending to see how the rest of the story plays out. Congratulations on beating MadWorld!
