This is the travel page for Madrid. Madrid is the capital, largest city and political center of Spain. Many people are drawn to the city for it's vast amounts of attractions and lively nightlife. Some of the best known museums in the city are in the "Golden Triangle of Art", located on the Paseo del Prado boulevard. The Museo del Prado is the most famous of the three and is said to hold one of the worlds finest European art collections. Madrid also houses the Las Ventas Bullring, which is the "birth place of bullfighting." If you're looking to catch a movie, the Yelmo Cineplex offers English versions of popular films. Because Madrid is a large city, there are many different varieties of dining options. Restaurants serve the traditional Spanish cuisine, as well as international choices. As far as lodging goes, Madrid has choices ranging from youth hostels to luxury accommodations.
