Madonna was honored on March 11, 2008 as an inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Madonna was introduced by Justin Timberlake, although she did not perform. She asked Iggy Pop and The Stooges to perform her songs "Burning Up" and "Ray Of Light" as a protest against The Stooges never being voted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
