"I'll Stop This Car Right Now"
On the afternoon of Sunday, April 19, 2009, Primoff was driving with her two daughters in White Plains, New York, when the daughters, aged 10 and 12, began bickering and arguing. Apparently fed up with the girls' quarreling, Primoff stopped her car and ordered the two out. The 12-year-old girl chased after the car and Primoff stopped and let her in. Primoff then drove off, traveling three miles to their Scarsdale, New York, home. Once home, Primoff called the police to report her younger child missing.USA Today: Bickering Kids Booted From Car; Mom ArrestedA passerby found the 10-year-old girl, taking her for ice cream and calling police. When Primoff contacted authorities, she was told her daughter was at the police station and she could come pick her up.
