Madden NFL 10 Wildcat Formation

    • Madden NFL 10 will feature the Wildcat Formation option
    • Formation places running back in place of quarterback
    • Formation was popularized again by the Miami Dolphins
  • The Wildcat Formation is a type of offensive football formation in which the running back takes the place behind the center where the quarterback would normally line up. The ball is then snapped to the running back and either handed off to another player or thrown. The upcoming edition of the annual football series Madden NFL 10 will allow the Wildcat Formation to be used.
  • Other New Features

Madden NFL 10 has several new features and tweaks in addition to the inclusion of the Wildcat offensive scheme. These features include new animations for the quarterback class, adding to the realism of movements.

A new Game Speed slider has also been integrated which allows players to adjust the speed of the game to their liking. Along with this inclusion, the overall default speed of the gameplay has been lowered, creating a more simulation-like experience.

More interaction between offensive and defensive players, such as wide receivers and defensive backs, means that players will run into each other, push off, or get in each other's way in a more realistic way than previous titles.EA Sports: Madden NFL 10 Gameplay (March 27, 2009)
