Madagascar 2, the sequel to the 2005 animated film Madagascar, opens in U.S. theaters on November 7, 2008. It features the original Central Park Zoo animals, who jet off to Africa to explore their roots. They ultimately miss their home and begin to wonder if their lives were better in New York City.
Prior to the U.S. premiere, the movie received three out of four positive critics' reviews on the Rotten Tomatoes website.
