MacWorld 2009 Keynote

  • The MacWorld 2009 Keynote presentation was delivered by Phil Schiller, senior VP for global product marketing, rather than Apple CEO Steve Jobs, on January 6, 2009, at 9:00 a.m. PST. Apple unveiled a variety of upgrades and new features added to existing programs like iWork, iLife and GarageBand and introduced a new 17" MacBook Pro.

    2. iPhoto 09 using "Faces," and "Smart Family Album," and Face Recognition technology

    4. iLife 09 will feature "Magic Move," upgraded animations, new chart animations and new transition effects and new Keynote Remote Application for iPhone
    5. iMovie 09 featuring precision editing, animated travel maps
    6. Garage Band 09 using "Learn to Play" interface
    7. New features in iWork
    8. New pricing plans for iTunes
  • Steve Jobs Health

    Steve Jobs was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2003. After surgery in 2004 he was thought to be in good health.
