Machete Movie

Machete is an American action movie that is set to be released in theaters on September 3, 2010. The story was initially an unproduced script written by filmmaker Robert Rodriguez after he met actor Danny Trejo. The script provided the basis for a fake movie trailer included in the Quentin Tarantino/Rodriguez co-production Grindhouse in 2007. At Comic-Con 2008, Rodriguez confirmed his intentions to turn Machete into a feature-length film, starring Trejo, and also to potentially produce two direct-to-video sequels, Machete Kills and Machete Kills Again.

Some rumors suggest Machete may be part of Grindhouse 2, along with The Babysitter Twins. Rodriguez, Tarantino and other filmmakers involved in the project (including Eli Roth and Edgar Wrigh, who directed other fake trailers) have indicated they would like to return for a Grindhouse sequel, though the first film's relatively poor performance at the box office was thought to have killed the project.http://www.movies.com/search-result?search=machete

Federale Machete, a renegade from the "Mexican Federale", is hired by a Texas drug lord to assassinate a Senator (played by Robert De Niro). An accomplished assassin, Machete takes aim at the Senator just as he catches someone taking aim at him. As soon as he recovers from the attack, Machete is back to business and out to capture his assailant as he learns that the entire scheme was a setup.
