MacBook Pro Ultraportable refers to a notebook computer rumored to be in development by Apple. A previous rumor reported on electronics blogs referred to this product as a slim, aluminum MacBook.
On October 14, 2008, Apple revealed the latest model of the MacBook Pro, which, while larger than the rumored ultraportable, is still significantly sleeker and thinner than previous models. The new MacBook Pro will be available in stores on October 15, 2008.
