The main hacks reported online for the Mac revolve around security hacks and breaking in to control a Mac using Safari browser security issues.

Meanwhile, the Macintosh garnered some attention and began to develop what would become a strong base of loyal fans.     Over the years the Mac has seen several incarnations, the latest of which are the MacBook and MacBook Pro. While these systems are constantly gaining market share, many attribute the fact that there are not a lot of hacks for the Mac to the lack of market share, making it less of a target for hacking.
