Lyle Lovett is a Grammy winning Texas-born Singer-Songwriter who is known for his "hip" country stylings, which mix traditional country with folk, blues, swing and gospel. As well as his solo work, Lovett also often plays live with his "Large Band." In addition to music, Lovett has also has film roles in a number of notable movies, including The Player, Short Cuts and The Opposite of Sex.
