Lux Interior, born Erick Lee Purkhiser, was the lead singer and co-founder of the influential punk-rock/garage band The Cramps. He passed away at age 62 on February 4, 2009 at Glendale Memorial Hospital in Glendale, California from a pre-existing heart condition.
