Lung Disease is any disease or disorder where the lungs do not function properly. There are all sorts of things that can inhibit lung function, such as bacteria, viruses, smoking, and air pollution among other things.

One of the major causes of numerous lung diseases is smoking cigarettes or other tobacco products. A way to greatly reduce your risk of lung disease is to avoid smoking. If you are suffering from a nicotine addiction, smoking cessation can reduce your future risks of lung disease development.
