  • NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) and the Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS) impactor are moon probes that launched with the Atlas V rocket on June 18, 2009, at 5:32 p.m. EST.http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/LRO/main/index.html http://www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/06/18/nasa.rocket/
