Lunar Knights

Lunar Knights is a 2006 role-playing game developed by Kojima Productions for the DS. The game is the fourth installment in the Botkai series produced by Hideo Kojima, the creator of the popular Metal Gear franchise.

Lunar Knights is set in a futuristic Anime setting where vampires have dominated the world for ages. In a move designed to wipe out the remaining human survivors, the vampires create a device called the paraSOL, which effectively blocks out the sun. Lucian and Aaron, two members of the "The Guild" human resistance group, join forces together to rid the world of the vampire threat. The two plunder dungeons together, defeating vampire bosses and launching them into space using a Casket Launcher. Lucian uses a variety of melee weapons, while Aaron uses solar guns to defeat vampires. In addition to their normal attack styles, both characters can become more powerful by activating their "Terrenials," Nero and Toasty, which enable special abilities. Throughout the course of the game it is possible to unlock four other Terrenials: Ursula, Alexander, Tove and Ezra.
