  • Lumberjack Day is an annual holiday celebrated on September 26, scheduled in direct competition with Talk Like a Pirate Day, which is celebrated a week earlier. Followers of Lumberjack Day dress in plaid outfits and don fake beards, touring pancake houses and diners to feast on various syrup smothered cuisine. Some followers even dress as giant pancakes to celebrate the lumberjack love for the breakfast meal.
