After the death of Tim Russert, several people have suggested that his son, Luke Russert, take over his father's job as host of Meet the Press.

Tim Russert's replacement, if it is someone well-known and experienced, will be held to extremely high standards. Luke Russert would have the sympathy of the audience, which some pundits think would give him the time to settle in to the job and develop experience.
