  • Professional National Hockey League player Lukas Krajicek plays defense for the Vancouver Canucks. A skilled skater with solid puck handling skills and quick reflexes, Krajicek represented his home country of the Czech Republic at the 2002 and 2003 World Junior Championships.
  • Professional Career

    Krajicek was drafted 24th overall by the Florida Panthers during the first round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. For the next five seasons Krajicek split his time between playing for the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League, the Panthers' American Hockey League affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage and joined the Panthers for 23 NHL games.

    During the 2005-2006 season, Krajicek played 67 games with the Panthers to earn 16 points and 50 penalty minutes. During the off-season, Krajicek was traded to the Vancouver Canucks along with teammate Roberto Luongo. Up for free agency at the end of the 2006-2007 season, Krajicek signed on for another two years with the Canucks.
