LuckyFortune is an iPhone app that features a fortune cookie that is broken open by shaking the iPhone. When the fortune cookie cracks open, a voice reads the fortune in, according to some, a stereotypical Chinese accent. In a New York Times article titled "Now You Can Get Fortune Cookies on Your iPhone with a Ching Chong Voice" the writer described it as a "faux Chinese-y accent."
The LuckyFortune iPhone app is considered by many to be "racially offensive."http://gawker.com/5364440/iphone-gets-first-racially-offensive-app
