Lucius Malfoy

Lucius Malfoy is a fictional character from the Harry Potter series of books and movies. Father to Draco Malfoy, he is a Death Eater in the service of Lord Voldemort and one of Harry's greatest enemies.

Lucius Malfoy was born into an affluent pure-blood wizarding family in 1954. In 1965 he began his education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He married Narcissa Black and together they had one son, Draco Malfoy in 1980. He was a Death Eater under the service of Voldemort until his assumed death in 1981. Malfoy's defense to the Ministry of Magic was that he was cursed and his actions were not his own. He was let off, but not all believed him.

On June 24, 1995 Voldemort was resurrected and called upon his Death Eaters to reunite. Malfoy was harshly criticized for not trying to find Voldemort. His home was turned into the Death Eaters headquarters and when his family was forced to rebel against one another after his son was made a Death Eater, Malfoy began to see what it truly meant to be on the dark side.
