Love Streams is a movie by John Cassavetes. Cassavetes is the lead actor and the director of the movie, which also stars Cassavetes' real life wife, Gena Rowlands. The film explores the relationship between a brother and a sister whose personal difficulties draw them together despite their differences.
Plot Summary
Robert Harmon is a writer who sleeps with many women and is not a responsible father to his 12 year old son. His life becomes entangled with his sister Sarah, who is divorcing her husband and whose daughter would rather live with her father. Through their hardships and desperation, the two find comfort and refuge in each other.
