  • Plot Summary

    Monica (Sanaa Lathan) and Quincy (Omar Epps) have been next door neighbors since they were 11-years old. They are bitter rivals on the court, but share a unique bond in their love of the game of basketball. They end their high school careers as lovers. As college athletes at the University of Southern California, their relationship cannot withstand the rift created by the differing levels of prestige given to men's and women's athletics. With Quincy being swept away by the hype of being an NBA prospect, Monica finds herslef willing to put everything on the line to keep the love of her life. Winner takes all in a high stakes game of one-on-one.
