Louis Van Amstel

Louis Van Amstel is a professional dancer and choreographer who currently performs on the hit reality television show Dancing With the Stars. Amstel was born in the Netherlands and has retired from the dancing profession although he still performs and teaches professional dance lessons. He currently lives in New York Cityand has performed and produced dance shows on Broadway.

Amstel's current Latin American Dance style evolved over the years after his early dance training in multiple fields including ballet, tap, and jazz. His dance career included performing with partner Julie Fryer from Manchester, UK.
