Season 6 of Lost will be the final season of ABC's popular television show. Its 18 hours are scheduled to air from February 2 - May 25, 2010. Portions of the season will air opposite the Vancouver Winter Olympics. Recurring characters who will join the regular cast in Season 6 include Zuleikha Robinson as Ilana, Nestor Carbonell as Richard Alpert and Jeff Fahey as Frank Lapidus. The character of Desmond Hume, played by Henry Ian Cusick will return for some episodes, but not as part of the regular cast, and Emile de Ravin, who was unseen on Season 5 will return as Claire Littleton.http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/11/19/this-just-in-and-the-lost-premiere-date-is%E2%80%A6/
Early promotional art for the season depicts much of the cast lined up in front of what looks like a tsunami. The character of John Locke, whose identity and circumstances were shrouded in mystery during much of Season 5, is the only cast member facing away from the camera.
