The Ipsilon Mountains I
- Enemies: Kelolon, Dagger Bird, Diacorn, Cliffhanger, Magic Pebble, Magic Rock, Big Owl, Sarbella, Man Eater, Mad Sarbella, Grilgan (Boss)
- Turn around and head to the tree on the left to obtain a 100 G.
- Save at the Save Sphere.
- Take a few steps forward to get into an event battle. A tutorial will begin to teach you the battle system. A spell tutorial will also become available after the battle.
- Walk north to ram the tree on the right for a Seed (14/99).
- Continue along the path until you reach a fork in the road.
- Take the right path. Probe two pots that contain a black magic spell called Ground and Mana Herb.
- TIP: Have Jansen cast Ground against the Kelolons. They have affinity to water.
- Turn around and head down the other path.
- On the right side of the path there will be another tree to ram. You will get 2 Wind Seal Leaf.
- Follow the path to the right to ram another tree to gain a Magma Fragment.
- Turn around and head south until you reach an alcove.
- Probe the pot for 2 Antidote. Open the treasure chest to find a Knight's Code.
- Head south toward the rocks to probe two more pots. They contain a Flare Bomb and a Slot Seed.
- Note: Slot seeds can create an additional skill slot for an Immortal character. Use it now on Kaim or Seth.
- Continue south to ram a tree for another Seed (15/99).
- Follow the path west to move to the next area.
- Ram the tree on the left to gain 2 Magma Fragments.
- Head right to ram another tree for a Seed (16/99).
- Probe the two pots for the white magic spell Barricade and a Flare Bomb.
- Follow the path on the right to ram another tree to obtain 2 Whetstones.
- Go left and ram a tree for a Seed (17/99).
- Head to the hut to get a cutscene. Go inside.
- Save at the Save Sphere.
- Probe a pot to the right for a Seed (18/99).
- Probe the other two pots to find an Antidote and a Power Drink.
- Examine the lamp to turn it on to gain Search Glasses.
- TIP: Equip Search Glasses on one of your party members see enemy HP.
- Head upstairs.
- Read the diary. Examine the lamp to obtain the white magic spell Shield.
- Talk to Jansen to rest and have a cutscene.
- Head downstairs. Leave the hut through the door Seth was blocking earlier.
- Ram the rock for a Mana Herb.
- Continue forward until you get a cutscene.
- Walk forward until a dream is unlocked: 'The Upstreamers.
- Follow the rainy and windy path. Break the rocks along the way to uncover a Healing Medicine and a Angel's Plume.
- TIP: Take the time to level your characters for the upcoming battle. Many people found this to be one of the tougher fights.
- Continue forward until you reach the peak.
- BOSS: Grilgan
- HP: 1,660
- ABILITIES: Down Burst, Poison Claw, Wind
- TYPE: None
- ELEMENT: Wind
- STEAL: Slot Seed
- DROP: Slot Seed (The boss doesn't drop it if you steal it)
- NOTE: The Boss's attacks can severely injure your party, especially Jansen. The sooner you can kill the boss, the better the chances of winning the fight.
- TIP: Make sure Kaim and Seth have learned Anti-poison so they can equip other accessories and Jansen can equip the Anti-poison. Flame ring and Bruiser Ring are also recommended for Seth and Kaim. Crisis Attack Boost can be good for Kaim and Crisis Defense Boost is recommended for Seth.
- Have Kaim attack and Jansen cast Flare.
- Seth can switch from throwing flare bombs, attacking, and healing.
- Congrats. By heading a little bit forward you'll leave the mountains and be done with this area.

The Ipsilon Mountains II
- After the boss fight, save at the Save Sphere.
- Head west to leave and head to the Southern Slope.
- Walk along the path until you reach a broken bridge.
- Jump from ledge to ledge to get to the other side.
- Once on the opposite side, head up the hill. Knock over the boxes to uncover a treasure chest. Open it to gain Novice Earrings.
- Exit the area heading Southwest.
- Grab the cart and push it as far as it will go. Ram the other cart to get a Cold Water Stone.
- Head down the hill until you find another cart. Ram the cart for a Seed (19/99).
- Follow the path north to get to the Mining Site.
- Walk forward and step on the platform. Take the ladder down.
- Ram the boxes on the left and open the treasure chest. It contains a Slot Seed.
- Turn around and continue until you come to another ladder. Climb down.
- Head past the next ladder and take the ladder that goes up. Climb it.
- Open the treasure chest to obtain the black magic spell Aqua.
- Climb back down and take the ladder going down that you passed to reach the bottom.
- Push the cart into the gap and cross to exit.
- Head to Grand Staff Construction Base.

Grand Staff Construction Base
- Enemies: None
- NOTE:-> Once you head up the North ramp, if you head right instead of left you'll find a yellow pot. This pot contains a Pipot, who rewards you for collecting the various Seeds you find in the game. Keep this in mind once you've collected your 20th Seed
- After the cutscene, save at the Save Sphere.
- Walk up the ramp and head left.
- Talk to then North guard, then run around the corner. Head back to where he was standing and pull the box all the way North.
- TIP: If the guard catches you, you can do it again until you succeed.
- Head to the other guard. Go past him and examine the poster on the wall for 100G.
- Talk to the guard and run around the corner. Grab the South box and push it all the way North.
- Examine the other poster for a Mana Herb. Go down the ladder.
- Probe the pots for Turn-tail Shoes and a Seed' (20/99).
- Talk to Tatoms to buy and sell items.
- Head out of the room to the Resting Room.
- Push the boxes out of the way to create a path to the other side of the room.
- Probe the two pots to grab the black magic spell Poison and 3 Hard Skins.
- Exit the room to the Exterior.
- Walk to the Northeast corner to find Pipot. Give Pipot the Seeds and gain Adamantis and "Adamantis Ring.
- NOTE: If you give Pipot 4 Healing Medicine, it will give you a Healing Herb. If you give Pipot 2 Mana Herb, you will get a Mana Capsule in return.
- Leave the base by heading South.
- Head to the Sea of Baus.

Sea of Baus I
- Enemies: Reef Worm, Floating Fish, Aqua Sphere, Mad Carpace, Granshaker, Magic Insect, Numara Soldier, Numara White Magician, Bogimoray (Boss).
- Head left towards the watchtower.
- OPen the treasure chest containing Treasure Glasses.
- Save at the Save Sphere.
- Head North to reach the beach area.
- Kick the clam of the left to gain a Healing Medicine.
- Continue forward and head down the path to the right. Kick the clam for 4 Stick Tapes.
- Head back to the bridge and take a left. Examine the magic generator when it stops glowing to gain 3 Insect Innards.
- Open the treasure chest to obtain the white magic spell All Shield.
- Ram the planks to continue down the path.
- Follow the path and kick another clam for a Seed (21/99).
- Continue across the water to ram another glowing magic generator to reveal a Yellow Band. Kick the clam for a Mana Herb. Ram the other two magic generators for an Anti-Paralysis Herb and a Magic Luring Stone.
$Head north to gain access to the Beach of Wastes.
- This area has eight magic generators. The first generator harbors a Seed (22/99). Open the rest of the magic generators to obtain a Power Drink, Anti-Paralysis Herb, Angel's Plume, another Seed (23/99), Slot Seed, Apprentice Earrings, and a Ground Bomb.
- After gaining all the items, head North to Crater Island.
- Open the treasure chest to the left to find 4 Pumice of Despairs.
- Follow the stairs until you see another chest. Open it to get the white magic spell All Barricade.
- Save at the Save Sphere.
- TIP: Spend this time to level party members and gain skills for the upcoming battle.
- TIP: Exit the game and restart the game to have full HP and MP for all party members.
- BOSS: Bogimoray x2
- HP: 1,830 each
- ABILITIES: Absorb, Para-Flare
- TYPE: Organic
- ELEMENT: Fire
- STEAL: None
- DROP: None
- NOTE: Bogimoray attacks with Para-Flare once his MP Gauge is full. He charges the gauge though the Magic Insects.
- NOTE: You will face the boss twice. The second boss will focus on absorbing magic to hit you with Para-Flare. Be prepared.
- NOTE: Be Prepared for another battle after both Bogimorays without being able to save.
- TIP: Put the Yellow Band on Jansen. Ensure Seth and/or Kaim can use Level 2 Black and White Magic. Kaim and Seth should also both have Anti-Paralysis and Guard Heal.
- Reduce the number of Magic Insects to 2 or 3. It will reduce the Bogimoray's ability to charge his MP.
- Have Jansen cast All-Barricade and cast Aqua and Flare magic.
- Once the number of Insects is reduced, focus on the Bogimoray. Have Kaim and Seth attack until it is dead.
- TIP: Use Zephyr right before you kill the first Bogimoray. Wound the remaining insects to get rid of them more easily for the next fight.
- The other Bogimoray will appear with its gauge charged. Defend to reduce Para-Flare damage.
- Use the same strategy to defeat the second Bogimoray.
