The Black Cave I
- Save at the Save Sphere.
- Walk forward to have the sealed door opened.
- Take a few more steps forward to trigger a cutscene and an event battle.
- TIP: Do not use magical attacks on the Dark Sorcerer. He will use a magic counter spell.
- Follow the path until it splits. Examine the body for a short cutscene.
- Take the right path. Continue down the path, passing the path to the right. Follow the path towards the right to find a treasure chest. Open it to get Stone Beast's Thorn.
- Turn around and take the path to the left. Turn right and head through the strong wind. Pick up a Goddess Medicine.
- Head back through the strong wind. Continue down the path heading north. A dream will be unlocked: The Tragedy of the Butcher General.
- Jump over the gap. Head down the southern path until you reach a chest. Open it to obtain 3 Giant Feelers.
- Head back to where the path split and take the other path.
- Jump the gap to your right to open a chest containing a Seed (52/99).
- Turn around and head down the path until you reach Foul Swamp.
- Walk forward to trigger a cutscene and gain a firefly.
- TIP: Avoid staying in the greenish water or you will take damage.
- Follow the path until there is a path on the left. Follow it through the strong wind. Pick up 500G off the ground. Turn around and head back to the main path.
- Continue down the main path. Examine another firefly pillar to get another firefly.
- Follow the path to the right and head to the far north east to a small island. Open the chest to get a Power Drink.
- Return to the path and head north to exit.
- Walk forward for a short cutscene.
- Follow the path all the way to its end. Open the chest to receive a Scroll of Dissection.
- Turn around and take a right to make your way to Helltrap.
- NOTE: There are holes in the ground that will take you back to Foul Swamp. Walk carefully and use the firefly light to guide you.
- Head north avoiding the strong wind areas until you reach a strong wind area on the right. Walk through it to open a chest containing the spirit magic spell Refresha.
- Turn around and head down the path to the right. Hug the wall to the right and head through the strong wind area.
- Examine the firefly pillar to pick up another firefly.
- Continue down the path to exit the area.
- Follow the path and ram the wall of rocks. Return to Helltrap.
- Head south past the firefly pillar.
- There are three holes. Fall through the upper left hole. Open the chest for a Soul Medicine.
- Head down and follow the path north to the right. Jump over the rock island to head back to Helltrap.
- Examine the firefly pillar to get another firefly.
- Head around the corner to the left. Follow the path to the left and over the rock bridge. Pick up the Blinding Powder at the end of the path.
- Turn around and take the path to the left.
- Follow path until you reach a save sphere and a chest.
- Open the chest to obtain a Seed (53/99).
- Save at the Save Sphere.
- TIP: Exit the game and reload to recover all HP and MP.
- Head through the strong wind and into the next area.
- Follow the path and pick up a Cure-All on the ground.
- Head down the path and pick up a Curse Blocker.
- Turn around and head down the other path.
- Ram the metal canister to trigger a cutscene.
- Enemies will appear on the screen.
- Approach a Rough Eater to begin a battle.
- TIP: Have casters cast Winda. Focus physical and magic attacks on one Eater at a time.
- Get into two more fights. You will get a cutscene.
- TIP: Go back and save. Quit and reload the game.
- Approach the enemy with red eyes to fight the Boss.
- BOSS: Rough Queen and Servants
- NOTE: Wining the fight will enable you to leave the cave.
- NOTE: The Queen has the ability to flee the battle. If she does, you will have to defeat the remaining servants. Then you will have to find the enemy with red eyes again. It will start a new fight against the Queen.
- TIP: Have your party consist of Kaim, Seth, Jansen, Sarah, and Cooke. Have all party members equip or know Anti-Petrify and Anti-Curse. Bio and Wind rings will also be helpful. Make sure someone in the party can cast Gamble.
- The objective is to bring down the GC in order to attack the Queen as quickly as you can. Cast Wind or Winda against the Rough Servants. Have Seth and Kaim use physical attacks to finish the servants off. Have the party member who can cast Gamble, cast it on the Queen.
- Once the GC is low or down to zero, focus all attacks on the Queen.
- After she is defeated, kill the rest of the Rough Servants.

Merchant's Town Saman I
- Watch a short cutscene.
- Save at the Save Sphere.
- Enter Erlio Family House to the left.
- Probe two pots to obtain a Seed (54/99) and an Antidote.
- Examine the cabinet for 500G.
- Give Pipot all your seeds.
- Exit the house.
- Head across the street into Kersen's Inn.
- Go into the room to the right. Probe a pot for another Seed (55/99).
- Head upstairs and examine the cabinet to gain 6 Generators.
- Go through the door to the left.
- Probe the pot to get 5 Sticky Tapes.
- Head across the hallway into the other room.
- Probe the pot to find another Seed (56/99).
- Go back downstairs and exit the inn.
- Head further into Main street. Go to Emelo's Tavern to the left.
- Go to the back of the room and probe a pot for Seed (57/99).
- Exit the Tavern.
- Save at the Save Sphere.
- Continue down Main Street. Head to Dandy the Crow's stand by the large tree.
- Talk to him and pick any from the four options: This one, That one, The other one, and Which one? You may randomly get one of the following from him: Mana Herb, Soul Medicine, Cure-All, Healing Medicine, or Awakening Bracelet. Continue buying until you get the rare Bracelet.
- TIP: Set a limit for how much money you are willing to spend. If you pass your limit, exit the game and reload.
- NOTE: Make sure to get the Bracelet before you head out of the city. After you leave to the next area, it will no longer be available.
- Probe the pot near the stand to get Pixie Flower.
- Probe another pot for a Seed (58/99).
- Continue forward. Probe the pot between two houses for another Seed (59/99).
- Head into the house to the right to trigger a short scene.
- Probe two pots to obtain a Slot Seed and 3 Whetstone'.
- Examine the cabinet behind Riordan to find a Secret Ledger.
- Examine another cabinet to get 1000G.
- Exit the house.
- Enter the building on the left.
- Probe the pot for a Seed (60/99).
- Talk to Zavlo to unlock a dream: The Story of Old Man Greo.
- Talk to Oreego to buy and sell items. Talk to Shopkeeper Audun to get or sell other items.
- Exit the building.
- Head to the west exit to trigger a short cutscene.
- Go back to Erlio Family House. Give Pipot the remaining seeds. You will receive Power Bangle.
- Head to Kersen's Inn.
- Talk to Shivie to trigger a scene.
- Exit the inn.
- Save at the Save Sphere.
- TIP: If you want to level a bit before you continue, head back to Numara Atoll to level up.
- Head to the Port of Saman.
- Probe three pots to obtain 3 Beast Hide Rasp, 500G, and 4 Pendulums.
- TIP: Boarding the ship will lead to a boss battle. Be prepared to fight before you board.
- Approach the group of people to trigger a cutscene.
- Board the ship to trigger another cutscene and a Boss battle.
- BOSS: Mantalas
- NOTE: To win the battle you must defeat the Mantalas or wait until he flees from battle.
- TIP: Have Kaim, Seth, Cooke, Jansen, and Sarah in the party. Ensure your casters can cast Grounda.
- Kill the Mantas first to reduce the GC to zero. Cast Grounda on the Mantalas.
- NOTE: The Mantalas will call to replenish the number of Mantras and hop over the side of the ship when he is attacked. He will not return until all the Mantas are dead.
- Have Kaim and Seth focus attacks on one Manta. Have everyone else cast Grounda. This will ensure the Grounda will be cast against the Mantalas.
