Northern Cape I
- Follow the path until you find a treasure chest. Open it to gain a Lion Heart.
- Continue down the path until you reach the edge of the cliff for a cutscene.
- Pick up Cubic Music Score 4.
- Head to the right for a short scene.
- Turn around and exit the area.
- Head to the Old Sorceress Mansion.

Old Sorceress Mansion I
- Open the treasure chest to the left to gain a Soul Medicine.
- Pick up the spirit magic spell Virus'.
- Enter the mansion.
- Open the chest on the staircase to get a Cure-All.
- Pick up Poem Fragment A from the floor on the right.
- Save at the Save Sphere.
- TIP: Take the opportunity to level up before the next boss fight.
- Head into the door on the left.
- Look at the table to the right to pick up Poem Fragment B.
- Head down the hallway.
- Open the door to the left to start a battle.
- Continue down the hallway. Open another door to the left to start another battle.
- Open the last door to the left for the third battle.
- Pick up the Large Mirror Jewel.
- Head to the large mirror and examine it. Step through the mirror.
- Grab the statue and push it to the right.
- Head down the hallway and walk through another mirror.
- Probe the two pots to obtain a Mana Capsule and a Winda Bomb.
- Head through the door on the left.
- Continue up the staircase. Open the treasure chest to get a Grounda Bomb.
- Examine the clock. Choose to set the hands to the Pot. You will get a Red-Copper Band.
- Two doors will open. Head into the room on the left.
- Approach the bed for a cutscene.
- Open the chest to find the Wheat Plate.
- Leave and go to the room on the right.
- Approach the table for a cutscene. Open the chest to get a Soul Medicine.
- Head back to the room with the mirror. Walk through it to return to the present.
- Open the treasure chest to the left to gain 4 Black Pearl Powders.
- Head down the hallway.
- Pick up Poem Fragment C on the floor.
- TIP: To see something optional, walk south and look in the mirror.
- Head back to the Entrance Hall.
- Save at the Save Sphere.
- TIP: If you have low HP and MP. Exit to the world map or exit the game and load your game. It will restore your party member's HP and MP.
- Go through the door on the left.
- Open the treasure chest to gain the Celestial Plate.
- Go back to the Entrance Hall.
- Head north to reach the Courtyard.
- Take the path to the left to reach a treasure chest to get the Bow Plate.
- Turn around and take the path to the right. Open the chest to gain a Cure-All.
- Head back to the entrance of the Courtyard to the large circles in the ground.
- Place the Wheat Plate in the right circle.
- Plate the Bow Plate in the left circle.
- Place the Celestial Plate in the remaining circle.
- TIP: Be careful when placing the plates. It is sometimes difficult to remove the plates.
- Pick up Poem Fragment D off the ground on the left.
- Go through the gate into the next area.
- Walk forward and examine the stone tablet.
- The Celestial sign on the ground will light up.
- There are four mirrors in the room. This guide will refer to these mirrors by counting them from left to right.
- Head into the second mirror.
- Step on the Celestial glyph. Go back through the same mirror.
- The Wheat sign will be lit. Head through the forth mirror.
- Step on the Wheat glyph. Go back through the mirror.
- The Bow sign will be lit. Head through the third mirror.
- Head to the left to activate a switch.
- Step on the Bow glyph. Go back through the mirror.
- The Pot sign will be lit. Head through the first mirror.
- Step on the Pot glyph. Head back through the mirror.
- Go through the second mirror. Continue forward and go through the other mirror.
- Follow the path and open the chest to get a Goddess Medicine.
- Head through the closest mirror to you. Open another treasure chest to obtain the spirit magic spell Lost.
- Retrace your steps back to the room with the tablet.
- Step on the glyph to make the stone tablet shatter.
- TIP: Go back to the Save Sphere and save.
- Head through the northern door.
- BOSS: Body of Thought
- NOTE: Instead of trying to kill the Old Sorceress, you are trying to save her.
- The 4 Bodies of Thought need to be destroyed before the Old Sorceress's HP drops to zero.
- The Sorceress will use Scream. It will cause the Thoughts to randomly change elements.
- There are two good strategies to win this fight. One is to attack a body of thought with the corresponding element it is weak to until they are defeated one by one. This can be risky due to screams.
- Another strategy is to use physical attacks with Kaim and Seth. Mack, Jansen, and Cooke can take turns casting Force.
- After the battle, leave the mansion.
- Head to Tosca Village.

Tosca Village II
- Enter Deeno Family House and talk to Deeno for a treasure hint.
- Exit the house.
- Enter Tolty's Inn. Go upstairs and approach Tureo and Hodgeo to unlock another dream: So Long, Friend.
- Head back down stairs and talk to the innkeeper for another treasure hint.
- Exit the inn.
- Save at the Save Sphere and leave the Village.
- Head to the Northern Cape.
