Experimental Staff I
- After the battle a cutscene will trigger.
- Another dream will unlock: Seth's Dream Part 2.
- Go inside the cabin of the ship.
- Save at the Save Sphere.
- TIP: Save this game to another slot. Some actions here will change aspects of the game.
- Talk to the Master of Requisitions, Damiroh. Buy and sell items here.
- Talk to Ringmaker Trace to create more rings.
- Examine the cabinet for a Seed (61/99).
- Rest if you wish to.
- Exit the cabin and head off the ship.
- Follow the path and take the first right. Open the chest to gain a Slot Seed.
- Turn around and take the other path.
- Go right and follow the path until you reach a chest. Open it to obtain 6 Generators.
- Turn around and continue down the path. Examine the large doors to head inside.
- TIP: Random encounters will occur inside. Begin stealing from Uhran Guardsman to gain Gate Passes. You will need at least one, but it is recommended to have 5.
- TIP: If you haven't already, have Kaim and Seth learn Guard Heal for the next boss battle.
- Head down the stairs to the right and trigger a cutscene.
- Go up two flights of stairs and open a chest to get a Cure-All.
- Exit to the next area.
- Walk forward to trigger a scene. Head up the stairs and trigger another short scene.
- Head right until you see a sliding platform. Stand on it and operate the button.
- Examine the green button. Open the chest to find the black magic spell Aqua Mine.
- Return to the other path.
- Climb down the ladder on the left.
- Open the chest at the end to gain 4 Pendulums.
- Climb back up and head south to see a terminal on your left.
- Approach the terminal and operate it to trigger a scene.
- Operate the terminal. Open the chest to obtain Knight Earrings.
- Go down the stairs to the south.
- Examine the lever. Open the chest to get 3 Bug's Stomachs.
- Head back to the ladder and examine the green button.
- Approach the terminal and give it a Gate Pass.
- Operate the elevator to reach the Experimental Staff Upper Division.
- TIP: You can detour the terminal by going south and heading outside. Climb the ladder up to the next floor.
- Climb down the ladder to the right. Open the chest to find 5 Gutsy Cloths.
- Climb back up and examine the green button.
- Operate the terminal to open the chest containing a Lotus Ring and White Lotus.
- Follow the path to the left until you trigger a cutscene.
- Examine the green button. Step onto the sliding platform and operate it.
- Examine the green button again. Step onto the sliding platform. Operate it and head north on the right path.
- Operate the next sliding platform.
- Climb down the ladder. Open the chest for 4 Beast Hide Rasps.
- Head back to the sliding platform and crate.
- Examine the green button. Operate the sliding platform.
- Examine the green button once more. Operate and slide the platform to the left path.
- Follow the path to two more sliding platforms.
- Examine the green button on the far right.
- Return to the sliding platform and crate.
- Examine the green button. Operate the sliding platform to the other side.
- Examine the green button again. Operate the sliding platform to the right path.
- Go down the path and operate the sliding platform.
- Head to the right and step into the elevator. Operate the elevator to get to the Experimental Staff Operation Division.
- If you have another Gate Pass, operate the terminal to the left to create a shortcut.
- NOTE: Use this shortcut to get back to the ship quickly if you need to restock.
- TIP: If you don't have a Gate Pass or only one at the moment, you can open this Gate Pass later.
- Head south to exit.
- Climb down the ladder to the left.
- Cross the bridge and climb the ladder. Talk to Yarlon.
- Climb back down the ladder and head across the bridge.
- Climb down the ladder to the right.
- Push the box off the ledge.
- Examine the green button to lower the bridge.
- Grab the box and slide it over the bridge to the other side.
- Examine the green button to raise the bridge.
- Push the box off the ledge.
- Examine the green button to lower the bride.
- Cross the bridge and talk to Morenis.
- Head back inside.
- Step back onto the elevator.
- Head left and examine the green button to create another shortcut.
- Operate the terminal and head pass the barrier to the Experimental Staff Outer Division.
- Go left and enter the door.
- Head down the stairs and open the chest to find a Fire Charm.
- Exit and head back outside.
- Go up five flights of stairs. Open the chest to gain 4 Paraweed Needles.
- Head up another flight of stairs. Climb down the ladder to the right.
- Examine the green button. Go across the bridge and talk to Yask. You will be rewarded with 11 Beat Stones.
Head back up the ladder and down the stairs.
- Save at the Save Sphere.
- Go back up the stairs and enter through the doors to the left.
- Walk forward to trigger a cutscene and a boss battle.
- BOSS: Gongora
- NOTE: You can not win this battle. The objective is to survive for 5 turns.
- TIP: Have Kaim, Seth, Cooke, Sarah, and Jansen as your party. Equip Platinum Gauntlet on Kaim and Seth (or as a skill if they have already learned it).
- Have Kaim and Seth defend. Have someone cast All-Barricade and the rest of the back row cast Zephyr.
- By the fifth turn, Gongora will cast Pain Surge and trigger several cutscenes.

Experimental Staff II
- NOTE: You have 12 minutes to escape and leave Experimental Staff. The timer will be displayed in the upper right corner of your screen. It will continue through battles, but will pause for the menu.
- TIP: Flee all battles. Equip Turn-tail shoes or Turn-tail skill on your party members.
- Exit the Glass Chamber and head outside.
- Run down the flights of stairs and go back inside.
- Head left until there is a path heading south. Take it to go back outside.
- Go down several flights of stairs. Open the door at the bottom.
- Head left and navigate down the only available path.
- head down the stairs and exit to the Experimental Power Division.
- Follow the path down the stairs. Head left and jump the gap.
- Climb down the ladder and open the chest to obtain a Power Drink.
- Climb down the ladder to the right and open another chest to get Red Snake and Snake Ring.
- Climb down the ladder to the left and exit the building.
- Walk forward to trigger a cutscene.
- After the cutscene you will move onto Disk 3.
- Achievement: Out to Sea (125g).
