Lost Odyssey Disk 4

This is Part 16 of our complete Lost Odyssey Walkthrough, featuring The Disk 4 of the Lost Odyssey game which includes World Map I, The Great Ancient Ruins and The City of Uhra IV.

1. After the cutscenes a tutorial for the Nautilus will appear.

2. Dive the Nautilus under the water.

3. Change the camera angle to be able to look on the ocean floor. Continue forward until you see air bubbles. Examine the air bubbles and obtain the Godly Dragon Tears.

4. Head south and stay close to land. After rounding another edge of land you will see more air bubbles. Examine them to get a Seed (84/99). Surface the Nautilis.

5. Navigate south to the small island. Once you are close, submerge the ship again. Examine the air bubbles to find another Seed (85/99).

6. Follow around the island until you are on the south side of the island. Examine the air bubbles you find there for 5 Magic-Sealing Vases. Surface the Nautilus.

7. Head west around the strong currents to the far island on the left. Submerge and examine the air bubbles. You will get 10000G. Go towards the rock wall to find Terrace Cave. Leave and go back to the Nautilus. Surface and head north.

8. Go to the inlet near the Grand Staff Construction Base. Submerge to examine the air bubbles below. You will uncover a Seed (86/99).

9. Turn around and head west around the shore of Uhra. Examine the air bubbles to gain a Slot Seed.

10. Continue north and head into the inlet. Examine the air bubbles to get 2 Draining Stones.

11. Head into the next inlet to the north and examine the air bubbles. You will gain 3 Living Brass.

12. Go north to the farthest tip of land. Examine the air bubbles to find 3 Power Reactors. Surface the Nautilus.

13. Continue to follow the land masses to the far east corner of the map. Submerge the ship and examine the air bubbles. You will obtain 3 Unicorn's Horns. Surface the Nautilus and head south until you reach another island. Dive under the water and follow the tunnel until you can surface.

14. Go forward to land in the Great Ancient Ruins.

1. NOTE: You will encounter Trookys here. Like Elmons, they steal from you. Also like Elmons, you will be able to get your items returned and finish a quest to ensure they do not steal from you again.
2. You will trigger a cutscene once you land.
3. Head to the save sphere. Save at the Save Sphere.
4. Go forward and step onto the platform. Follow the path to the chest. Open it to gain 4 Magic Staff Fragments. Turn around and step onto the platform to the far right. Head down the path and take the next platform to the left.
5. Open the chest to find a Tablet Fragment. Step on the platform and return to the start of the area.
6. Turn and get onto the platform to the next ledge. Once there, step onto the platform to the far north. Go up the stairs and enter the ruins.
7. Follow the path around the square until you reach a Royal Seal. Break the seal to obtain a Golden Gauntlet.
8. Turn around and step onto the platform for a scene.
9. Operate the green sphere to head up a floor. Take the path to the north and down the stairs to the next platform to trigger a scene.
10. NOTE: Your party has been divided into two groups. One party consists of Kaim, Sarah, Mack, and Cooke. The other party has Seth, Tolten, Sed, Jansen, and Ming.
11. Have Seth operate the green sphere to have Kaim go up to the next floor.
12. Walk forward for a scene. Ram the platform to the left. Follow the path to the chest in the alcove. Open it to get a Magical Lock Key. Turn around and go down the stairs.
13. Head north onto the platform. Operate the green sphere to head down the floor below. Follow the path around the square. Open the chest to receive a Magic Analysis Book.
14. Go around to the other side of the square.
15. Switch to Seth.
16. Step onto the platform to the left. Operate the green sphere to get to the floor below. Head up the stairs to the left. Go up another flight of stairs to the north. Open the chest to obtain 4 Iron Balls of Ruin. Head back down the stairs and go left. Go up another flight of stairs and step onto the platform.
17. Operate the green sphere to head up to the floor above. Open the chest to get the Spirit Magic spell Reset.
18. Follow the path around the square. Ram the platform down onto the floor below.
19. Switch to Kaim.
20. Step onto the platform in front of you. Operate the green sphere and go up to the floor above where Seth is. Walk towards her and your party will come back together.
21. Head to the glowing glyph on the ground to trigger a scene.
22. Walk forward to the platform. It will take you up to the Hanging Corridor.
23. Follow the path until you reach another platform. Step on it to take you down. Walk forward to trigger a scene.
24. Approach the recovery sphere. Save at the Save Sphere.
25. Open the chest and your Magic Powered Locator will be upgraded to Magic Powered Locator Lv 2.
26. Go down the stairs and step onto the platform at the end of the path.
27. Enter the door into the Lunar Palace and get a scene.
28. TIP: You will encounter creatures called Money. Make sure to have one of them steal money from you for a future quest.
29. Once your party is split up again. Take Kaim down the path to the right. Step onto the platform.
30. Switch to Seth. Have her follow Kaim and operate the green switch.
31. Switch to Kaim. Follow the path north. Open the chest in the alcove to obtain 5 Dragon Scales. Turn around and head up the flight of stars. Ram the platform to have it fall below.
32. Turn around and head around to the right until you reach a dead end.
33. Switch to Seth. Turn around and head to the other side of the path. Step onto the platform and operate the green sphere. Follow the path down two flights of stairs.
34. Grab the pillar and move it onto the platform to go down to the floor below.
35. Head right and go up the stairs and down the stairs to the other side.
36. Open the chest to find the Tooky Talisman.
37. Grab the second pillar and pull it toward the platform behind you to travel to the floor below.
38. Grab the pillar and pull it to the platform to the south.
39. Head north until you reach a platform with two pillars on it. Grab a pillar and pull it off the platform. The platform will rise to the floor above.
40. Turn around and head down two flights of stairs.
41. Head toward the screen until you reach a chest. Open it to get Twin Cross. Turn around and head around the square to another glowing glyph on the ground.
42. Approach the platform and pillar. Grab the pillar and pull it off the platform to have it rise up.
43. Switch to Kaim.
44. Step onto the platform and operate the green sphere to descend to the floor below.
45. Head left to the platform. Operate the green sphere to go down to the floor below.
46. Go down several flights of stairs. Follow the path to the right. Grab the pillar on the platform. Drag it to the platform on the opposite side.
47. Turn left and follow the path to the end. Open the chest to receive a Tablet Fragment.
48. Turn around and grab the pillar. Pull it onto the platform to head down below to Seth.
49. Your party will rejoin. Head through the large doors for a scene.
50. Step onto the platform to take you up to the Throne of the sun. Get ready for a boss fight.
51. Walk forward to trigger a cutscene and the fight.

• BOSS: Ancient Fiend

1. NOTE: Destroying Keystone A will deactivate the Ancient Fiend's ability to counter. Destroying Keystone B will deactivate the Ancient Fiend's ability to magic counter.
2. NOTE: The Ancient Fiend has the ability to change the formation of your party members.
3. TIP: Bring only your strongest characters to this fight. Recommended characters would be Kaim, Seth, Tolten, and Sarah. The fifth character can either be Ming or Jansen. Equip rings that do more damage to hardened enemies for the Keystones. Equip Spirit killer rings against the Ancient Fiend.
4. Begin the battle casting All-Generata, All-Shieldus, All-Barricadus, and Powerus on your physical attackers.
5. Focus on Keystone A first. Have Jansen/Ming cast Forcea, while Kaim, Seth, and Tolten use combos or break hits against it. Have Sarah heal and cast Minda on the casters when she has the chance. Also use bombs against the Ancient Fiend to do additional damage while you are taking down Keystone A.
6. Once Keystone A is defeated, focus your attacks on the Ancient Fiend.
7. NOTE: Do not kill both Keystones before the Ancient Fiend. It will cause him to raise his defense and cast more powerful spells against your party.
8. Have Jansen/Ming cast Forcea against Keystone B, while the rest of the party attacks the Ancient Fiend.
9. After you have defeated the Ancient Fiend, attack Keystone B until it is vanquished.
10. A cutscene will trigger once the fight is over.
11. Head to the City of Uhra.

1. NOTE: The next few sections will cover gaining items, seeds, and treasure hunt information that is now accessible. At this time, do not venture near or approach Numara. It will trigger the game to move forward.
2. Talk to Soldier Maios for treasure hunt information.
3. Talk to Yallen for a side quest to deliver a letter.
4. Board the monorail and head to the Royal Palace.
5. Probe the pot to the left to get an Aquarus Bomb. Probe the pot towards the right side of the area to get a Seed (87/99).
6. Go talk to Pippot and give him your Seeds.
7. Head down the stairs to the Station Square.
8. Open the two chests to the north to find a Seed (88/99) and 3 Adamantine Ores.
9. Talk to Carlen right next to the chest. For giving him the letter, he will reward you with a Freedom Armband.
10. Go east and exit to Outside of the Front Gate.
11. Follow the path until you come to a large bridge. Talk to Lomur to get a side quest to find his father.
12. Go back to the Castle Station and talk to the man in the right corner. After speaking with Wolph, return to Lomur. You will receive 9 Nightmare Seals as a reward.
13. Go back to the station square. Board the magic taxi and head to Central Station Square. Go into the Central Station and talk to Raha for treasure hunt information.
14. Return to the square. Approach the fountain and examine the ground. You will find the Gaia Breaker and Gaia Ring.
15. Head to Main street. Walk forward to unlock the dream: Beyond the Wall. You will also gain treasure hunt information.
16. Head towards Virno's Tavern, but don't head inside until you talk to Muhga standing outside. He will give your more treasure hunt information. After you talk to him, head inside the Tavern.
17. Talk to Virno to get treasure hunt information. Talk to him again to get more treasure hunt information.
18. Leave the Tavern.
19. Go to Tolsan's Inn and head out the back. Follow the left wall. Examine the ground to get 4 Byproduct X.
20. Climb down the ladder into the sewers.
21. Head left across the bridge. Turn right and go down the stairs to the right. Examine the ground to find a Scroll of Secret Skills. Leave the sewers and return to Main Street. Go north to the Residential Area.
22. Walk northeast and talk to Ohzen. He will give you 4 Necrosis Molds.
23. Exit to the west to go to Gongora's Mansion.
24. Talk to the guard to gain entrance into the mansion.
25. Go around the left side and open the door on the left wall leading to the Courtyard.
26. Break the Royal Seal and go down the stairs.
27. TIP: The enemies here are still very dangerous. Make sure to equip your party with Anti-Petrify.
28. Follow the path until you see a ladder to the far left. Climb down the ladder and probe the pot to get a Flarus Bomb. Climb back up the ladder.
29. Jump the gap to the right. Examine the steam pipe to the north.
30. Turn around and climb down the ladder. Follow the path to a pot. Probe it to gain 5000G. Climb back up the ladder.
31. Head left and examine another steam pipe. Jump across the gap to the right and head north to the dead end.
32. Ram the wall and open the chest to get a Seed.
33. Turn around and follow the path to the right. Go past the door on the right. Examine the steam pipes and continue forward. Examine another steam pipe to receive a Groundus Bomb.
34. Follow the path to the right and climb down the ladder.
35. Probe the pot to find 6 Magic Crystals. Climb back up the ladder.
36. Examine the steam pipe ahead of you. Then head to the alcove you passed.
37. Before heading through the doors, turn around and take the small path to the left. Open the chest to get a Magical Lock Key.
38. Head back to the doors. Before you enter, prepare yourself for a fight.
39. Walk forwards to trigger a scene and an event battle.
40. TIP: Equip rings that do high damage to Mechanical enemies. Also equip poison and sleep skills and equipment on your party.
41. Focus your attacks on the Generator first. Use attacks and cast Gamble until it is dead. Then take out the Dolls one by one using the same strategy.
42. After the battle, head further into the room. Pick up the 3 Pendulums. Kick the trash can to obtain a 'Goddess Medicine.
43. Examine the ground in front of the glowing spherical device. You will gain the Demon King's Horn and Demon King Ring.
44. Examine the glowing magic device to trigger a scene.
45. Turn around and leave the room.
46. Follow the path back until you reach the area that was previously blocked off. Step onto the elevator to return to Gongora's Mansion. Head across the room to the other elevator to go up to Gongora's Study.
47. Approach another glowing magic device to trigger a scene.
48. Examine the table and retrieve a Power Drink. Go behind the table and open the chest to uncover 3 Magic Storing Stones. Open the chest to the right to obtain 4 Stone Beast's Fangs.
49. Leave the Mansion and the City of Uhra.
50. Head to the Grand Staff Construction Base.
