  • Story

You play as Kaim, a man who's been sentenced to live for 1,000 years. You experience Kaim's life as he lives through multiple generations, gets into conflicts, falls in and out of love, and becomes a part of multiple family lines. The backdrop is set during a 'mystical industrial revolution' where man has attained dark powers. Somehow Kaim, and three other immortals, has lost his memories of the past 1,000 years and unlocking his hidden memories is the key to saving the world from the plot threatening the world of the immortals and mortals.
  • Gameplay

The battle system is completely turn-based with a menu system that allows you to choose which action you will take. Weapons do not have any special attribtues besides effecting your attack strength, and magic is based on elements (water, fire, air, earth). An interesting element to the gameplay is the fact that mortals and immortals learn skills differently. Mortals gain skills as they level up, similar to other RPGs. Immortals learn skills from the mortals in their party and the accessories they use. Another innovative element is the ring-building system. When you defeat enemies or search the ceramic pots in the world you can earn components. You can combine components to create rings, which offer hand-to-hand combat bonuses. The initial rings you create can then be upgraded with other components or combined with other rings to make for even stronger creations. You can switch rings at any time during the battles as well.
