In 1990, her role as Robin Williams's mistress, the outrageous Lila, garnered attention, but it was her role as Tyler Ann Endicott, the ex-girlfriend of bank-robbing surfer Bodhi (Patrick Swayze), and love interest of undercover FBI agent Johnny Utah (Keanu Reeves) in the 1991 hit Point Break which made her a household name. In 1995 she appeared as the title character in the film Tank Girl.
