Demographics
The city is 70% caucasian and another eighth of the population is of Indian or Pakistani descent. London is also a majority Christian city, with the majority of these citizens continuing to recognize the Church of England as their primary faith. There is a significant Jewish population in the city and a strong Muslim presence in the Newham and Tower Hamlets boroughs in central London.
