Fine Dining
No trip to London is complete without a visit to the popular Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. Frommer's recommends starting your meal off with appetizers like a salad of crispy pigs' trotters with calf's sweetbreads or fried quail eggs and a cream vinaigrette. For your main course try the ravioli of lobster, langoustine and salmon with tomato chutney and vinaigrette or the fillet of turbot with braised baby gem lettuce and a citrus sauce. Save room for dessert, try the marinated pineapple ravioli with mango and fresh raspberries or the caramelized tarte tatin of apples with vanilla ice cream. Frommer's also recommends reserving a table at least one month in advance.Frommers.com: Gordon Ramsay -
Affordable Dining
For the traveler on a tight budget, Fodor's recommends the popular Anchor and Hope restaurant. Reasonable prices are just one of the great things about this restaurant. Popular dishes include the smoked sprats and crab on toast. No reservations are necessary, but you should show up early to avoid long waits.Fodor's: Anchor & Hope Review -
