    Fletcher originally went to college to play basketball, but ended up transferring during his sophomore year to John Carroll University where he played football. He finished his college football career with 386 tackles, fourth-most in school history.     Making his professional debut with the Rams in 1998, Fletcher played in all 16 games during his rookie season. He continued as a starter for the Rams for three additional seasons, including in 2000 when he helped the team win Super Bowl XXXIV over the Tennessee Titans. In 2002, Fletcher went to the Buffalo Bills, where he started in every game over five seasons.
