The Logitech Harmony One is a universal remote control and features a touch screen for common commands. Using the Harmony One allows you to replace up to 15 other device remotes so you can command an entire entertainment system with just one remote control.
History
The Harmony was created by the Canadian company named Easy Zapper. The company changed its name from Easy Zapper to Intrigue Technologies and was later bought for $29 million by computer accessory manufacturer Logitech in May 2004.
Easy Programming
The Harmony comes with a USB cable to allow connection of the unit to a personal computer and program it. The user visits the Logitech website and downloads the latest software and configures the remote with his home theater equipment. The remote settings are saved in a Logitech database online. The online tool uses a constantly updated database to pre-program the remote functions. If a specific model is not found, then the programming can also be done manually.
Tech Specs
The Logitech Harmony One remote supports up to 15 different devices, so it can control even the largest and most complex entertainment systems.
