Logitech was founded in 1981 in Switzerland by Stanford University graduates Daniel Borel and Pierluigi Zappacosta. They were able to introduce a computer mouse to the mainstream market, which was drastically improved in design over the original mouse invented by Douglas Engelbart. Logitech has since expanded its market to other computer peripherals such as controllers, speakers, and webcams. -
