  Eisler met his current wife, Kristy Swanson, when they were paired up together on the TV show Skating with the Stars. Eisler was married to wife Marcia at the time, and was expecting a second child with her. • 2006 Suspension

  Eisler was suspended from coaching in Canada for part of 2006. He was allegedly suspended due to sexually suggestive e-mails that he allegedly sent to a 15-year old student.
