Lizz Winstead

Comedian Lizz Winstead is the co-creator and former head writer of The Daily Show. Since 2005, Winstead has been a contributer to The Huffington Post. In 2007, she launched the website Shoot the Messenger. Winstead also produces the podcast Drinking and Thinking for the website. The talk show stars Winstead and notable members of the media.

On June 30, 2008, Tracie Egan and Moe Tkacik of Jezebel, a Gawker Media blog, were invited to an interview on Drinking and Thinking. By the time the interview started, both Egan and Tkacik appeared intoxicated and proceeded to make comments that were interpreted by some, including Winstead, as dismissive towards rape and the use of birth control.Lizz Winstead (Huffington Post): Jezebelism (July 4, 2008)
