Grammy Award winning actress, stage performer and singer Liza Minnelli is the daughter of actress Judy Garland and film director Vincente Minnelli. She has appeared in many films, and successful stage productions. She earned an Academy Award for her role as Sally Bowles in the 1972 musical film Caberet.

Minnelli has struggled with substance abuse for years, and has been in rehab on numerous occasions. She has been married four times. The latest marriage was to concert promoter David Gest. After a well-publicized and messy divorce the two finally came to an agreement in January of 2007. -
