Liv Tyler

Liv Tyler is the daughter of lead singer Steven Tyler from the band Aerosmith. She began her career as a model and quickly rose in the acting world after her first film, Heavy. Her most recent big appearance has been in the role of Arwen in The Lord of the Rings Film Series.

Life and Career

Liv Tyler was born in New York City to Bebe Buell, a model and singer, and Steven Tyler, lead singer of Aerosmith. Liv did not know her father was Steven Tyler until age nine when it was revealed to her.

She began modeling at age fifteen, but soon found her passion in acting. She appeared in Steven Tyler's Crazy video as well as in a number of films, but her big break came when she starred in Armageddon opposite Ben Affleck.

More recently she has starred as the elf Arwen in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings Film Series and is set to star opposite Edward Norton in The Incredible Hulk.

Separation from Royston Langdon

On May 9, 2008, Tyler and Langdon released a statement to People magazine, confirming they are separating after five years of marriage.

The brief statement said the couple "remain good friends and devoted parents to their son Milo and are requesting that their family's privacy be respected at this time."
