Little Shop of Horrors is a film musical about a nerdy florist named Seymour (Rick Moranis) who raises a man-eating plant while harboring a secret crush for his co-worker, Audrey (Ellen Greene).
The film was an adaptation of an off-Broadway musical which was also an adaptation of a 1960s black comedy film by Roger Corman. The Roger Corman film was made for $30,000 USD while the 1986 film cost $30 million. Little Shop did not initially have a huge impact in movie theaters, but now has a cult status amongst some moviegoers.
