• Background

  Little Man was directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans and written by Keenen Ivory Wayans, Shawn Wayans, and Marlon Wayans. The film is obviously inspired by the Bugs Bunny short Baby Buggy Bunny although not cited as a reference. It is the fourth film from the three Wayans brothers, the other films being Scary Movie, Scary Movie 2, and White Chicks. The three brothers also appeared together on the hit television show 'In Living Color along with brother Damon Wayans. For the character of Calvin a body double was used, and computer generated special effects replaced the face of the double with the face of Marlon Wayans. The body double was named Linden Porco, who at the time of the filming was a 7 year old with Dwarfism traits. The film was widely panned by critics and received seven nominations for the Golden Raspberry Awards.
