• The Little League World Series is a baseball tournament for kids between the ages of 11 and 13. The Little League Baseball World Series is held every August in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania and features both a national division and an international division. The two division winners then play for the overall championship.

  The International Championship Game was played on Saturday, August 29, 2009 and resulted in Asia-Pacific beating Mexico 9-4.

  The United States Championship Game was held on Saturday, August 29, 2009 resulting in Chula Vista, CA beating San Antonio, TX 12-2.

  The World Series Championship Game was held on Sunday, August 30, 2009 between Chula Vista, California and Chinese Taipei. Chula Vista won 6-3 to become the new Little League World Series Champions.
