Lisa Edelstein is a Satellite Award winning actress that plays the role of Dr. Lisa Cuddy in the popular television series House M.D.. In the early 1990s, she guest starred on many television shows (Mad About You, Seinfeld). In the early 2000s she appeared in successful films like What Woman Want and Daddy Day Care. Her current role of Dr. Lisa Cuddy, the Dean of Medicine at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital and frequent character foil to title character Gregory House, on House M.D. has earned her fame and her character is currently involved in a major sub-plot revolving around her feelings for Dr. House. Edelstein has also made quest appearances on several other shows including ER, Frasier, Just Shoot Me!, Without a Trace and Judging Amy and has lent her voice talent to shows including King of the Hill, American Dad! and Superman: The Animated Series.
