Lions for Lambs Reviews (Good)
- Box Office Mojo: Lions for Lambs Reviews
- "Packed with star power in a dialog-driven drama about the most urgent issue of our time—the Bush administration's undeclared, unsuccessful so-called war on terror—Robert Redford's Lions for Lambs roars."
Lions for Lambs Reviews (Bad)
- Variety: Lions for Lambs Review
- "Robert Redford's first helming chore in seven years, and his most directly political pic yet, amounts to a giant cry of "Americans, get engaged!" wrapped in a star-heavy discourse that uses a lot of words to say nothing new."
- The Hollywood Reporter: Lions for Lambs Review
- "An honest but a bit dry attempt at a serious discussion on the merits of current U.S. military strategies."
- Rotten Tomatoes: Lions for Lambs Review (Rating: 43%)
- "Redford's most overtly political film to date unfolds as a series of intelligent lectures and patriotic speeches about the lamentable state of the union (tackling politics, journalism, and education) but it doesn't convince dramatically or artistically." -Emanuel Levy
- Times Online: Lions for Lambs Review (Rating: 2/5)
- "The film has an almost autistic lack of personality. Redford's clever attempt to fill these gaping holes by casting actors whom audiences will instantly recognise and can flesh out doesn't pay off."
