Early Life
Lindsey Benson Hunter Jr. was born in Utica, Mississippi on December 3, 1970. He attended Murrah high school in Mississippi. Hunter continued his education at Jackson State University. Pro Career
In Hunter's first season with the Pistons, he averaged 10.3 points, 4.8 assists and 26.5 minutes in 82 games. In 2000, he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks. Hunter was traded again in 2001 to the Los Angeles Lakers. He won an NBA Championship with the Lakers in 2002, serving as a back up to Derek Fisher. The following season he was traded to the Toronto Raptors for Tracy Murray and Kareem Rush. In 2003, Hunter was signed by the Detroit Pistons and he won an NBA Championship with the team.
