Lila Kirton was an Assistant Attorney General under Eliot Spitzer. She is currently director of community affairs in the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs. According to New York Sun reports, Kirton is the staffer with whom David Paterson admitted to having an affair. With the resignation of Spitzer, Kirton is now working directly under Paterson.
