Lil E. Tee is an American-bred thoroughbred racehorse who won the Kentucky Derby in 1992 in one of the biggest upsets in the race's history. 1992 Derby Win
Lil E. Tee started in the 10th position in the 1992 Kentucky Derby and was still in 10th place after half a mile. The favored racehorse, Arazi, made a bold move from the 17th position to find himself in third place. Lil E. Tee followed and as Arazi tired, caught up to front-runner Casual Lies and flew past to win $724,800 and the prestigious Kentucky Derby title.
